The iconic American designer, Tommy Hilfiger, and doe-eyed actress Zooey Deschanel, have combined their talents to create a capsule collection of dresses which will be sold at Macy’s department stores.
The New Girl star, who grew up sewing, worked with Hilfiger for two years before finalizing the “To Tommy From Zooey” collection of apparel and accessories.
The line – which retails from $98 to $199 – features quirky, flattering silhouettes, from a tweed “Red Pocket” dress with a peek-a-boo pocket and red buttons lined on one side to a shift “Sailor” dress in a watercolor print, which was inspired by her co-star Hannah Simone.
“I really wanted this to suit a lot of different women” said Deschanel about the collection who is consisting of 16 Americana-inspired dress line.
The capsule collection is now available since April 14th at Macy’s stores and online.
