He may be awkward, somewhat of a nerd and always be known for his role as Zuckerberg. However, Jesse Eisenberg has a lot more going on for him. Eisenberg who once used to just be known for his roles in Adventureland and Zombieland took a turn, when he accepted the role for creator and CEO of Facebook Mark Zuckerberg in the The Social Network. As an Academy Award nominee, Eisenberg has been in movies left and right. From Rio and Rio 2, 30 minutes or Less, to Now You See Me. He was recently just in the movie, The End Tour, that made its premiere debut at The Sundance 2015 Film Festival. Eisenberg has accepted one of the most challenging roles in his career by far.
Eisenberg will be perusing the role as Lex Luthor in the upcoming movie Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. There are many mix reviews about this decision, however sources say that Eisenberg blew the Casting Directors away with his audition, and is making Luthor more of Zuckerberg type character.
As fans had time to heal and weigh on the fact that Eisenberg will be playing Lex, the audience is ready to see what he brings to the table. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will come out on March 25th of 2016. In the mean time Jesse is working on a few more projects such as Now You See Me: The Second Act co-staring with a top-of-a-kind cast including… Dave Franco, Mark Ruffalo, Wood Harrelson and Daniel Radcliffe. The movie is set to premier June 2016.
