He has received critical acclaim for his performances. In a review of Journey’s En;, The Independent wrote “James Norton….is stunning”.

His TV credits have included guest appearances in Doctor Who (2013) co-starring Matt Smith, Blandings (2013) co-starring Jennifer Saunders and Death Comes to Pemberley (2013) co-starring Matthew Rhys.

Norton’s film credits include the Academy-award nominated An Education (2009) co-starring Carey Mulligan, Rush (2013) co-starring Chris Hemsworth and the upcoming Mr Turner (2014), co-starring Timothy Spall and directed by Bafta-award winner and Academy-award nominated Mike Leigh.
