Music streaming web service Spotify more than doubled revenues in 2012 to 435 million euros ($577 million) as it expanded to new markets and almost doubled its users, documents showed on Wednesday.

Spotify, the world’s largest music subscription company which provides free on-demand music or ad-free tunes for paying customers has doubles their revenues compared to 2012. Even though that does sounds like Spotify has been killing it, the loss of the company has also been growing. Their net loss increased to €58.7 million ($77.4 million) from €45.4 million in 2012 ($58.8 million). It should not be a problem because companies regularly lose money when they gain more market share. This year, the company has been expanding their market with Latin America and Asia.

Spotify stated it almost doubled the number of monthly active users during 2012 as it launched in countries such as Germany, Australia, New Zealand and Ireland. The sector therefore has attracted a lot of interest from global technology giants like Google and Amazon, to add the success of the sector to their presence in a smartphone dominated media world.

Gal Gadot is a 28-year-old Israeli actress and model who has stepped into the film industry with shining colors. Born in Tel Aviv, Israel, Gal won the title of Miss Israel in 2004 and continued on to represent her country in the 2004 Miss Universe pageant. The pageant required her to travel to Ecuador, and when she did not place in the top 15, she returned to Israel. When she was signed to play Gisele the Fast & Furious movie franchise, she moved to Hollywood and still resides there today. Gadot has been married to Yaron Versano, an Israeli businessman, since 2008. The couple has one child together so far, named Alma, who they welcomed into the world in November of 2011. Gadot’s transition to motherhood has not altered the pace of her career, thus far. The up-and-coming starlet’s most recent gig was in Fast & Furious 6 which released on May 24, 2013. The film gave Universal Studios its biggest opening weekend in history, with an impressive $97.4 Million in revenues. She was so ecstatic about being part of such an action-packed film that she performed all of the stunts, herself!

Gal’s other notable film credits include Fast Five, Knight and Day (starring Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz) and Date Night. She also guest starred on HBO’s Entourage.  And if that isn’t enough – Gadot also has modeling experience. She glowed in a Maxim photo shoot called, “Women of the Israeli Army” and is the leading model for Castro, a prominent clothing brand in Israel. She has also graced the covers of several top magazines including Cosmopolitan Bride and GOstyle. Despite the fact that Gadot is a fairly new face of the Hollywood scene, her career has a bright horizon. Although she isn’t currently working on any new projects, she is a prime target for directors and has notable potential. She landed the role of Olivia in The Beautiful Life for three episodes in 2009, alongside Mischa Barton and Sara Paxton. She also starred in an Israeli television series called Asfur in 2011, as she played the role of Kika in seven episodes. So, will television be next for Gal? Or, will she continue to land roles in high-intensity action movies like Fast & Furious? Perhaps she will take a new direction and focus on another genre. To find out more about Gal Gadot and to receive updates about any upcoming projects, visit her Twitter and Facebook pages.
