Jon Hamm will entertain all the sport fans who are planning to watch the ESPY Awards as he will be hosting ESPN’s sports awards show. His humorous and creative personality will be for everybody to enjoy on live television while watching the competition between the year’s best sport moments.

Jon Hamm is mostly known for his role as Don Draper in the Primetime Emmy Award winning drama series Mad Men-which he won a Golden Globe Award in 2008 and four Emmy Award nominations for.  Stepping away from the vintage suits, he began working on movies as well; to name a few, The Day The Earth Stood Still, Suckerpunch, Bridesmades and Friends With Kids. Jon even highlighted his comedic skills with a recurring role on the hit sitcom 30 Rock.

Hamm will host the show at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on the 17th of July. ESPN has previously enlisted non-athletes for the gig, including Justin Timberlake, Seth Meyers and Samuel L. Jackson. “I’m very excited to be hosting the ESPYS,” Hamm said. “As a longtime sports fan and a marginally successful high school athlete I feel my skill-set jibes well with a host’s duties. I now have to figure out what cleats to wear with a tuxedo.”

We certainly are looking forward to this celebration of sports with Hamm, be sure not to miss out.

This Monday Billboard announced its finalists for the 2013 Billboard Music Awards which will air live on Sunday May 19 starting at 8/7c on ABC from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. To make the celebration of this year’s chart-topping achievements extra special the show will be hosted by the hilarious Tracy Morgan.

This year the award show got a three-way tie: Taylor Swift, Maroon 5 and fun. are all finalists in a grand total of 11 categories, of which Swift and Maroon 5 are selected for the Top Artist Award along with Justin Bieber, One Direction and Rihanna who are up for respectively 10 trophies. Even though the record of Adele, who went home with 12 awards last year, will not be topped this year, there is still tension in the air around who the overall winner will be.

Host Tracy Morgan will be joining the lineup of performers that includes Justin Bieber, Miguel, Taylor Swift and Bruno Mars. The show will also include a highly anticipated performance by Prince, who is receiving the Billboard Icon Award at the telecast  produced by Don Mischer and sponsored by Chevrolet and the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority.
