Scott McCreery was born on October 9, 1993 in Garner North Carolina.  Scotty is an American country singer who won the tenth season of American Idol in 2011.  His debut album, Clear as Day was released in October 2011 which included his first hit ‘I Love You This Big.’  The song entered the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart at number 32, which sold 171,404 units after the first week and was certified gold in August.

At the 2011CMT Music Awards, Scotty performed with Laruen Alaina, who sang Grand Ole Opry live.  In 2011, Scotty toured with the American Idols which began in Utah and ended in Manila.  Scotty had the chance in 2011 to sing the national anthem in Game 1 of Baseballs World Series.  At the 2011 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in NY, Scotty performed his second single “The Trouble with Girls.”

In 2012, Scotty will open for Brad Paisley at his “Camobunga! 2012 World Tour” along side with The Band Perry.  This tour kicks off in January with tour dated announcements for the first quarter for 2012.
