With five studio albums under her belt and the title of Female Vocalist of the Year by the Academy of Country Music five consecutive years only confirms what everyone already knowns—Miranda Lambert is nothing short of the reigning queen of Country Music.

After having gained recognition as a finalist on the 2003 season of “Nashville Star,” this Texas-born country cutie hasn’t slowed down. Her debut album “Kerosene” landed at number one on the Billboard Top Country Album charts in 2004 and eventually gained a Platinum certification.  Miranda-Lambert-CountryMusicIsLove

Early top singles such as “Kerosene,” “Gun Power and Lead,” “White Liar,” and “Fastest Girl in Town” earned Lambert a reputation as Country Music’s gun-slinging, tough girl. However, in recent years she has garnered immense success with emotional charged tracks such as “Over You” based on the death of her husband, Blake Shelton’s, brother at a young age and the Grammy-winning power ballad “The House That Built Me.”

Lambert’s most recent album “Platinum” was released this summer. The album’s first single, “Automatic,” marked Lambert’s 10th top 10 hit on Billboard’s Country Airplay and Hot Country Songs charts. Over all, the album captures many aspects of Lambert and her talent. Power-rock song “Somethin’ Bad”—a duet with fellow Country starlet Carrie Underwood—keeps with Lambert’s tough girl persona. In the album’s title track, Lambert advises: “What doesn’t kill you only makes you blonder.” This platinum blonde, platinum recording, country bombshell continues to be the fastest girl in Nashville’s crazy town.
