Kanye West has been out and about promoting a new album that had no name and no release date. West did take to Twitter to give his fans something and reveal that name of the album. West tweeted that the album will be called So Help Me God, and the tweet was accompanied by the album cover art. On March 2, 2015 West released a new single called “All Day (feat. Theophilus London, Allan Kingdom, & Paul McCarthney.)” The new single was quick to climb the iTunes chart and excite fans. In an interview with BBC Radio recently, West commented that this album was all about the “beauty in the struggle,” comparing it to the popular hymn “Amazing Grace.” West also went on to say that he’s having fun working hard and being inventive.
West states that release dates are played out, and So Help Me God will be released like Beyonce’s self titled 2013 album and Drake’s new mixtape, in surprise fashion. He stated it will be different than his critically acclaimed Yeezus, which he claimed was a protest to music. While the album is only 80 percent finished, West said, “but this album is just embracing the music, embracing joy and just being a service to the people.”
