Tuesday night, May 19th, Fox aired the pilot episode of their new hit show “Glee.” From the creator of “Nip/Tuck,” Glee has an upbeat storyline set in the world of high school teens. The noteworthy star of the show is 22 year old Lea Michele.
Lea made her Broadway debut when she was only 8 years old in Les Misérables, and went on to play the celebrated role of Wendla in the highly acclaimed, Spring Awakening, garnering a Drama Desk Award nomination. Lea can be heard on the original Broadway cast recordings of Ragtime and Spring Awakening, as well as on the 2003 recording of Fiddler on the Roof.
Lea does not currently have any endorsements and the press tour for the show this fall will be a great PR platform targeting the tween/teeen market.
